The machine has a propelled garniture tape (20) for transporting each continuous strand of rod-shaped products. A garniture has a basic garniture (1) on which the garniture tape is guided in groove with decreasing radius, and garniture top portions. The garniture has reference surface (A) which has a direction and arrangement such that functional modules (I) are positioned in preset orientation and arrangement to the strand and/or to the garniture by abutment against the reference surface.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Maschine zur Herstellung von stabförmigen Produkten der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie mit -wenigstens einem angetriebenen Formatband (20) zum Transport jeweils eines endlosen Stranges der stabförmigen Produkte, und -einer Formatgarnitur mit einem Formatgrund (1), auf dem das Formatband (20) in wenigstens einer Rinne (23) mit abnehmendem Radius geführt ist, und einem oder mehreren Formatoberteilen (11, 12, 19), und -wenigstens einer in einer vorbestimmten Ausrichtung zu dem Strang und/oder zu der Formatgarnitur angeordneten Funktionsbaugruppe (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII), wobei -an der Formatgarnitur wenigstens eine Referenzfläche (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) vorgesehen ist, welche eine derartige Ausrichtung und Anordnung aufweist, dass die Funktionsbaugruppe (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII) durch Anlage an der Referenzfläche (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) in der vorbestimmten Ausrichtung und Anordnung zu dem Strang und/oder zu der Formatgarnitur positioniert ist, wobei -die Ausrichtung und/oder die Anordnung der Referenzfläche (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) veränderbar sind.
