[origin: EP2695871A2] High performance active mass comprises a fuel, an oxidizing agent for the fuel, which is a fluorinated carbon compound having polymer forming units comprising long carbon chain with at least 100 carbon atoms, or repeating carbon atoms, and optionally a binder. At least one of the carbon atoms in the carbon chain or in each unit, comprises at least one binding site occupied by a molecular residue or an atom different from fluorine or carbon. The oxidizing agent is not graphite fluoride.
