[origin: EP2696008A2] The telescopic work scaffolding comprises two height adjustable scaffolding portions (1 to 3) movable in vertical direction to each other. Each scaffolding portion comprises parallel and mutually spaced vertical guide units (30), whose vertical beams are connected with one another by struts (31). The scaffolding portions are movable in parallel alignment in vertical direction and their mutual displacement takes place by a cable (7 to 10). An independent claim is included for a method for operating a telescopic work scaffolding.
