Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2696155A1] The method involves enclosing an internal cavity (6) which is partly defined by a circumferential wall (7). A channel-like passage (5) is extended from the cavity through the wall to outside. The UV coated workpiece (1) is held with respect to the access aperture (8) of cavity. The aperture is covered with the lid elements (14,20) by leaving the passage open. An inert gas is introduction into the cavity over lid element (20) and the passage is purged with inert gas. The coating material in passage is irradiated with an UV-radiation, after purging passage with inert gas. An independent claim is included for device for curing UV coated workpiece.
