[origin: WO2012139722A1] The invention relates to a torque support (1) for the articulated mutual support of two elements, in particular, on the one hand, a frame (6) or a bogie (3) and, on the other hand, a housing, such as a transmission housing (8.1, 8.2, 8.3) of a rail vehicle. The torque support has a rod (10), at each of the two ends (10.1, 10.2) of which a receptacle head (12.1, 12.2) is arranged, the receptacle head having a bearing (13.1,13.2) for holding a bolt (14.1, 14.2) which serves for providing support on the respective element. The rod is embodied as a sleeve at least in the region of its two ends, and the bearing has a socket (17.1, 17.2) which is arranged between the bolt and the receptacle head in the radial direction of the bolt and is supported on the receptacle head by means of at least one further bearing element (18.1, 18.2). The socket has, on its outer circumference, a bulbous section in the manner of a universal ball joint.
