Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012139599A1] The invention relates to a bearing arrangement on a self-supporting tank for cold or cryogenic liquids, comprising a tank casing made of light metal, which defines a tank chamber by means of a base, lateral walls and a cover, wooden bearing bodies being arranged on the lower side of the base for mounting on the foundations, and holding structures of the lower side of the base which surround the bearing body at least on the upper edge area. At an ambient temperature, gaps separate the holding structures and the bearing bodies and said gaps are measured such that they close when the tank is cooled to the operating temperature and that the holding structures rest against the bearing bodies when the tank reaches the operational temperature.
