[origin: WO2012143306A1] The invention relates to a surfactant composition comprising an alkylaryl sulphonate compound (a); and an alkylaryl sulphonate compound (b). The difference between the optimal salinity of the compound (a) and the optimal salinity of the compound (b) is greater than or equal to 3 g/L. The surfactant composition may be adapted in a simple manner to the various exploitation conditions, and in particular to the various salinity conditions, in order to provide an optimal enhanced recovery of hydrocarbons.
