[origin: EP2700466A2] The arrangement (10) has a spindle (16) rotatably held in a housing (12) over spindle bearings (28, 28') e.g. high precision ball bearings. Tool holders (14, 24, 26) for fastening a grinding disk (20) is clamped on the spindle and comprise a tool arbor (14). The tool holders with the grinding disk are clamped on the spindle such that the spindle bearings are enclosed by the tool arbor and/or the grinding disk to a large extent. The spindle is mounted in the housing with the spindle bearings. The bearings are completely arranged below the tool arbor and/or the grinding disk.
