[origin: EP2700505A2] The method involves comparing (S220) one of the live images (310) with a digital proof (110) in an electronic manner, where a reference image (330) is compared (S100) with the digital proof delivered from a prepress. The live image is taken in the pressing operation. The reference image is formed by integrating multiple live images. The reference image is electronically compared with the digital proof. A camera serves for receiving the live images.
