Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2700599A2] The separating device (1) has a stack area (4) with a support region (5), where a stack is supported from the bottom in the support region by the support units. The support unit has a support roller assembly (7a,7b) with a support roller (8). A separating unit (19) is provided for separating the objects from the lower side of the stack. The support roller assembly is a part of a roller guidance device (6), and is moved periodically between a support position (SP) and a release position (FP). An independent claim is included for a method for separating individual, flat, flexible objects from the lower side of a stack of flat, flexible objects and for conveying the separated objects from the stack.
