Abstract (en)
The cylinder liner has support ring (3) that is placed on outer support surface (4) of the cylinder liner main portion around a cylinder axis (A) of the cylinder liner main portion. The support ring is supported on the support surface through a contact surface (31). The supporting ring is designed such that induced radial enlargement of the cylinder liner main portion is limited to preset value by the support ring with respect to the cylinder axis. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing supporting ring of cylinder liner.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zylinderliner (1) für eine Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine (2), insbesondere Zweitakt-Grossdieselmotor, wobei ein Stützring (3) an einer äusseren Stützfläche (4) des Zylinderliners (1) derart konzentrisch um eine Zylinderachse (A) des Zylinderliners (1) vorgesehen ist, dass der Stützring (3) über eine Kontaktfläche (31) des Stützrings (3) an der Stützfläche (4) abgestützt ist. Erfindungsgemäss ist der Stützring (3) derart ausgebildet, dass durch den Stützring (3) eine in Bezug auf die Zylinderachse (A) induzierte radiale Vergrösserung des Zylinderliners (1) auf einen vorgebbaren Wert begrenzbar ist. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Stützrings (3) für einen Zylinderliner (1), sowie einen Stützring (3).
