A component, which interacts with the plug-in tongue (12) in the interior of the seat-belt lock (10), of the locking mechanism of the seat-belt lock (10) and/or the plug-in tongue (12) on a locking section (16) which interacts with the locking mechanism of the seat-belt lock (10) in the interior of the seat-belt lock (10) have/has design features which permit the locking of the plug-in tongue (12) in the seat-belt lock (10) only in one of at least two possible orientations of the plug-in tongue (12) in the seat-belt lock (10).
