[origin: WO2012145781A1] The invention relates to a method for inserting or removing at least one bending tool (1) at a tool holder (2) of a vertically operating press brake, in which a receiving body (5) provided with a slot-like tool interface (3) is transferred from an operating position (13) into a changing position (16) by means of an adjusting movement (17) in relation to a crosshead (6) of the press brake and the angular position of the receiving body (5) is thereby changed by a pivoting angle (19). For releasably fixing a holding portion (4) of at least one bending tool (1) at the tool interface (3), a holding device (8) is coupled with the adjusting movement (17), and the holding device (8) is automatically activated by adjusting the receiving body (5) into the operating position (13) and is also automatically deactivated by adjusting the receiving body (5) into the changing position (16).
