[origin: EP2546021A1] Nickel based alloy comprises (in wt.%) carbon (0.13-0.2), chromium (13.5-14.5), cobalt (9-10), molybdenum (1.5-2.4), tungsten (3.4-4), titanium (4.6-5), aluminum (2.6-3), boron (0.005-0.008), nickel (remaining amount), optionally niobium (not > 0.1), tantalum (not > 0.1), zirconium (not > 0.05, preferably at least 0.02), hafnium (not > 0.1), silicon (not > 0.1), manganese (not > 0.1) and impurities, preferably phosphorus, iron, sulfur, vanadium, copper, lead, bismuth, selenium, tellurium, thallium, magnesium, nitrogen or silver. An independent claim is also included for repairing a component, comprising using the above alloy as an additive material during welding of nickel- or cobalt based substrate.
