The head has a functional area (I) and an action area (II), and an element motor (5), a hollow spindle (6), a drive system (7) and a power supply module (23) arranged in the functional area and an interchangeable rotary element (15) arranged in the action area. The supply module comprises an axial displaceable shaft (9) that cooperates with a seal ring (11). The interchangeable rotary element comprises a geometric profile such that an inflow spacing (31) is formed by a curvature (15a). A discharge line (18) is connected to a central disposal unit (30). An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning an outer layer with a shower head.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Duschkopf und ein Verfahren zur Reinigung der Haut mittels dieses Duschkopfes, wobei der Duschkopf in einen Funktionsbereich I und einen Aktionsbereich II aufgeteilt ist und der Aktionsbereich II ein auswechselbares Rotationselement 15 aufweist. Die dem auswechselbaren Rotationselement 15 zugeführte Reinigungsflüssigkeit wird in einem abgegrenzten Raum in einer spiralförmigen Bahn in Kontakt mit der Haut gebracht und nach erfolgter Reinigung wieder abgesaugt.
