[origin: EP2703531A1] The shuttle has a weft coil and a thread eyelet (14) movably guided relative to the shuttle proportionately parallel to a movement direction (17) of the shuttle below and/or above warp threads. Thread compensation parts i.e. rewinding weft coils, are arranged in or at the shuttle. The thread eyelet is movably held on an arc portion of the shuttle along the movement direction of the shuttle in a loom. A shuttle upper part (18) is movably held in or at a shuttle base part along the movement direction of the shuttle. An independent claim is also included for a weaving method.
