Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2703913A2] The clock (1) has a pointer, particularly an hour hand (4), driven by a clock unit, and a manually rotatable pointer, where the former pointer is rotated independently from the manually rotatable pointer. A time display of a time unit is performed during the overlapping of the pointers, while the latter pointer points towards the angular position of the current time of the observed time unit. A reasonable hour reading is not possible while the time points and angles of the overlap of the pointer are outside.
