[origin: WO2012152414A1] The invention relates to a paint-spraying apparatus (1) for producing a shaped paint jet, comprising a paint nozzle (21) positioned in an annular gap (23), wherein the pain nozzle comprises a needle (7) with a needle head (16) and a paint outlet opening (17), wherein the needle head is displaceable in relation to the paint outlet opening on a longitudinal axis of the needle in order to control a needle valve formed from the paint outlet opening and the needle head, and wherein, in a closed position of the paint nozzle (21), the needle head (16) is placed in a form-fitting manner with respect to the longitudinal axis in the paint outlet opening (17), wherein the paint outlet opening is rotatable together with the needle head about the longitudinal axis in order to rotate the shaped paint jet in the orientation thereof with respect to the longitudinal axis.
