Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013026431A2] The invention relates to material comprising a combination of a layer of blown synthetic polymers (2) for heat insulation and protuberances (5) applied thereto from a soft plastics material for reinforcing mechanical stimuli on the dermis and subcutis, which protuberances are raised or embossed by a thermal process. Additional textile layers are laminated (adhesively secured) (3) to the inner face of the material combination facing the skin (6) in such a manner that the surface configuration between skin and bandage permits a controlled dissipation of perspiration and heat (A). The protuberances of soft plastics material (figures 2 and 3, B) can be applied to the substrate material, adhesively secured to the heat- and perspiration-dissipating inner coating (figures 2 and 3, A), at both systematic and irregular intervals and in different shapes and heights.
