[origin: WO2012150080A1] A fuel distributor (2) which serves in particular for fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing, applied-ignition internal combustion engines comprises a distributor body (10), in which is formed a fuel chamber (14), and comprises a support element (4). Here, there is provided on the distributor body (10) at least one cup (12) on which the support element (4) is arranged. The support element (4) forms, at least in part, a support surface (17) on one end (18) of the cup (12). In this way, the distributor body (10) and the cup (12) can be formed from a plastic, while the preferably metallic support element (4) forms the support surface (17) for a hold-down spring (5). Also specified is a system (1) having a fuel injection valve (3), a hold-down spring (5) and a support element (4).
