[origin: WO2012150021A1] The invention relates to an air-intake pipe (10) for a ventilation system of a building, wherein the air-intake pipe (10) has an elongate internal volume (12) through which drawn-in air can flow, wherein at least one air filter (16) for filtering the drawn-in air by way of a filter area (24) across which the drawn-in air can flow is provided in the internal volume (12), wherein the cross-sectional areas of the internal volume (12) have a maximum value, and wherein the filter area (24) is larger than the maximum value. The invention also relates to a ventilation system (44) for a building (42) having an air-intake pipe (10) of this kind.
