Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2705764A2] The system (1) has tobacco end devices (10.1-10.3) and tobacco receivers (14.1-14.3) connected together by pressure tight tobacco conveyer tubes (12.1-12.3). A closure element is controlled by a control device, and connection of the tobacco end devices is lockable by the conveyer tubes. The control device is formed to close the closure element to establish low pressure in the conveyor tubes and to open the closure element to produce tobacco material through the tobacco conveying tubes after successful development of the low pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a tobacco end device (2) a method for conveying shredded tobacco material.
