[origin: WO2012152901A1] The present invention relates to a pump for metering and dispensing a liquid or viscous product. This pump (1) is characterized in that the separation chamber (9a) between the main chamber (9) and piston (10), said piston (10) impelling the product toward the outlet aperture (7) of the pump (1), is sealed to the flow of the product, the latter not passing through said separation chamber, and in that the means (16) for returning the piston to its position blocking the outlet aperture (7) may be housed in this separation chamber (9a). Application to the field of dispensing a liquid or viscous product from a recipient, especially to spraying of said product.
