The mesh is characterised in that the distance between every two reinforcing rods (3) is a distance (d1) predetermined in accordance with the width of said plate, the value of said width being a standard value (A) determined based on the number and nominal size of the bricks (6) that must be included in said plate. It has the advantage of allowing plates of standard width to be obtained without losing robustness and firmness.
