Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2708642A2] The rope (10) has strands (15) formed from stranded wires (16). The strands are stranded around a plastic core (11). Elongate inserts (12) are arranged between the strands. The inserts are extended approximately upto an outer circumference of the rope. The inserts include a radius, which is adapted to the strands, in a region staying in contact with the strands. The stranded strands directly lie on the plastic core over a preset circumference region (11'). The inserts are arranged with a distance (a) to the plastic core on an inner side. An independent claim is also included for an intermediate piece.
