[origin: EP2708745A1] The compressor (1) has cylinders (2, 3) in which pistons (4, 5) are arranged for compressing air. Cylinder head-side arranged exhaust valves (10, 11) are designed as a slat valve and fluid-technically connected with the cylinders to release the air to be compressed by the pistons and allow airflow from the cylinders to compressed-air lines (12, 13). Return-flow pipes (14, 15) exhaust from the respective compressed-air lines, and idling valves (16, 17) are arranged in one of the return-flow pipes to realize an idling function of the compressor. The return-flow pipes are partially made of a resilient material. The return-flow pipes comprise hoses (18, 19) to be made of a polymeric material.
