Abstract (en)

[origin: US2013243635A1] Provided is a scroll-type fluid machine which can reduce deformation of a rotary scroll caused when fixing a bearing into a boss part. A scroll compressor, in which a sealed chamber confining a fluid is formed by a fixed scroll and the rotary scroll meshed together, each of the scrolls having a spiral wall erected on one side face of an end plate, includes: a metallic boss part (15C) protruding from the other side face of the end plate of the rotary scroll; a metallic rotary bearing (12) inserted into the boss part (15C); a crankshaft rotating around an axis and including a bush part inserted in the rotary bearing (12) and rotatably supported by the rotary bearing (12); and an insert member (31) disposed between the boss part (15C) and the rotary bearing (12) and having a thermal expansion coefficient greater than those of the boss part (15C) and the rotary bearing (12).
