Abstract (en)

The device (10a) has a control unit (18a) for controlling a variable cooking surface (14a) based on inputs via an operating unit (20a). The operating unit is provided with control dials (22a, 24a, 26a, 28a) i.e. virtual control dials. The control unit changes a heating power of cooking zones (42a, 44a) of the variable cooking surface based on inputs via the control dials. An indication unit (30a) displays association of the control dials to the cooking zones. An associating unit (50a) performs an association between the control dials and the cooking zones based on operator inputs. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a hob device.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Kochfeldvorrichtung, insbesondere einer Induktionskochfeldvorrichtung, mit zumindest einer variablen Kochfläche (14), zumindest einer Bedieneinheit (20) und zumindest einer Steuereinheit (18), die dazu vorgesehen ist, die variable Kochfläche (14) in Abhängigkeit von Eingaben über die Bedieneinheit (20) zu steuern. Um eine preiswerte, komfortable und/oder einfache Ausgestaltung zu erreichen wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Bedieneinheit (20) zumindest einen Drehregler (22, 24, 26, 28) aufweist und dass die Steuereinheit (18) dazu vorgesehen ist, in Abhängigkeit von Eingaben über den Drehregler (22, 24, 26, 28) zumindest eine Heizleistung von zumindest einer Kochzone (42, 44) der variablen Kochfläche (14) zu verändern.
