Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012159724A1] The invention relates to a drapery strip (10) for a textile sheet material such as net curtains, drapes or the like, having a body (11) that is flexible in at least one plane and that can be arranged on or in the textile sheet material. The flexible body (11) comprises a plurality of plastic segments (12). According to the invention, the plastic segments (12) are arranged on a continuous core (20), wherein the core (20) is comprised of two concentrically arranged parts (21, 22), which can be moved, at least slightly, with respect to one another in the axial direction (13). The plastic segments (12) can be fixed onto the outer part (22) of the core (20), and preferably form a mechanical connection thereto. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a drapery strip (10). Initially, the two-part (21, 22) core (20) is coated with a plastic material in order to form a plastic sheathing, which subsequently is subdivided into the individual plastic segments (12).
