[origin: WO2012156169A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for separating gases from a suspension, comprising a reactor (2) having at least one wastewater supply (7) and at least one clean water discharge (8) and a gas extractor (9), a return sludge discharge (10), and a return sludge supply (11), further comprising a circulating agitator (17) arranged in a mixing zone (13) in the reactor interior (6) of the device and attached to an agitator shaft (18), wherein a sludge accumulation zone (15) is separated at least in segments from the mixing zone (13) by at least one separating film (21).
