[origin: WO2012155168A1] The invention relates to an angle measuring device for a press brake (1) comprising a press table (2) with a bending die (3) and comprising a press beam (4) which can be moved relative to said die in a moving direction (7) and which comprises a punch (5). A sheet-metal part (8) to be formed is arranged in the bending die (3), and the punch (5) contacts the sheet-metal part along a bending line (9) during the bending process, said bending line (9) and moving direction (7) spanning a working plane (10). The angle measuring device comprises a lighting device (12) with at least one light source (13), an optical image detecting device (14) with an optical axis (20), and an image analyzing device (15) that processes data. The lighting device (12) illuminates a section (18) of a surface of the sheet-metal part (8) on at least one side of the working plane (10), and the optical axis (20) is arranged on the working plane (10). The optical axis (20) and the bending line (9) form an angle (21) of less than 2° in the illuminated section (18), or the optical axis (20) and a normal trace (33) of the optical axis (20) projection onto the surface of the sheet-metal part (8) form an angle (21) of less than 2° in the illuminated section (18).
