According to the invention, it is provided that, preferably in the region of the gluing station (20), parts of the pack (10) or pack walls are oriented correctly relative to one another, and the resulting relative position is retained by guide means, in particular an upper guide (34) and a lower guide (35), during transportation of the pack (10) along a cardboard path (19).
