The stabilizing device (10) has a base part and a support part or a support region which has a smaller dimension in the width direction than the base part. The support part or the support region comprises a section for supporting at the rod-shaped object or the ground anchor. The section has a larger dimension in the direction of depth in an area which lies closer to an upper edge than in an area which lies closer to a lower edge. The stabilizing device has a part formed of metal or plastic. The section for supporting at the rod-shaped object or the ground anchor tapers continuously from the upper edge to the lower edge. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a stabilizing device.

Eine gemäß der Erfindung ausgebildete Stabilisierungsvorrichtung (10,20,20a,30,40) kann auf einfache Weise einen stabförmigen Gegenstand oder einen Erdanker im Erdreich (E) sowohl nachträglich im gelockerten Zustand als auch beim Eintreibvorgang des stabförmigen Gegenstands oder Erdankers in seiner Lage auch über einen längeren Zeitraum hinweg stabilisieren. Da das Basisteil (12,22,22a1,22a2,32,42) zum Stützteil (14,24,24a1,24a2) bzw. zum Stützbereich (34,44a,44b,44c) geneigt ausgebildet und das Basisteil breiter als das Stützteil bzw. der Stützbereich ausgebildet ist, erfolgt eine großflächige Abstützung des stabförmigen Gegenstands oder Erdankers im Erdreich, so dass eine sichere Lage desselben auch unter Witterungseinflüssen oder Einwirkung mechanischer Kräfte gewährleistet werden kann. Durch einen Abstand zwischen dem Basisteil der Stabilisierungsvorrichtung und dem stabförmigen Gegenstand oder Erdanker kann Feuchtigkeit in diesem Bereich in das Erdreich abgeleitet werden.
