[origin: EP2711623A1] The latch assembly has a holding element (20) and a lever element (30) that is mounted on the holding element through a rotary bearing (1) in a rotating manner. The rotary bearing is provided as a sliding bearing with a guide element and a guided element. The guide element has two holes or incomplete punchings along a circular line. Each hole or incomplete punching has an edge region that is oriented radially outwards with respect to the circular line, where the edge regions form the guide surfaces for the guided elements. An independent claim is included for a luminaire with a supporting element that is held in the holding element of the latch assembly.
