Abstract (en)
A device with mechanisms for raising and lowering the lid and seat of a toilet, characterized by comprising a structure adapted to be fixed on the back part of the hole of a toilet and adapted to rotatably accommodate a first axis and a second axis collinearly disposed and partially separated at their ends enclosed within the structure; said first axis is attached at the laterally protruding end of said support-casing structure in the side back part of the toilet lid; said second axis protrudes at its end in opposite side of said structure to be affixed to the side back part of a toilet seat; said first axis and second axis comprise at the collinear attached ends, a first cam and a second cam, respectively adapted to receive and hold the end of a first cable and a second cable, which emerge below the support structure and extend from the rear part of the toilet on one side to the front thereof; the end of the first cable is connected to a first pedal element and the end of the second cable is connected to a second pedal element, independent of each other, but mounted on a single structure, to be actuated by foot, the device may comprise a hydraulic piston actuated mechanism for lowering the lid and seat automatically when discharging the water tank of the toilet.
