Abstract (en)

The sharpener (1) has sharpening disks (2, 3) rotatably supported around a rotational axis (8) and comprising sharpening surfaces (11, 12) that are arranged opposite to each other. A sharpening slot (13) is formed between the surfaces in a radially outwardly extending manner, where the surfaces are designed in mirror-symmetrical to each other. A housing encloses the disks and comprises a blade guiding slot that runs at an angle to the sharpening slot. One of the surfaces is designed in convex form i.e. polygonal line, and another surface is convexly or linearly designed.

Bei einem Messerschärfer mit zwei Wetzscheiben (2, 3), die um dieselbe Drehachse (8) drehbar gelagert sind, einander gegenüberstehen und einander zugewandte Wetzflächen (11, 12) aufweisen, die zwischen sich einen Schärfschlitz (13) ausbilden, der sich radial nach außen erweitert, und mit einem Gehäuse (4), das die Wetzscheiben (2, 3) umgibt und über dem Schärfschlitz (13) einen Messerführungsschlitz (24) aufweist, der in einem Winkel (±) zum Schärfschlitz (13) verläuft, ist in radialer Richtung mindestens eine erste der Wetzflächen (11) konvex und die zweite Wetzfläche (12) geradlinig oder ebenfalls konvex ausgebildet.
