Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2712707A1] The sharpener (1) has sharpening disks (2, 3) rotatably supported around a rotational axis (8) and comprising sharpening surfaces (11, 12) that are arranged opposite to each other. A sharpening slot (13) is formed between the surfaces in a radially outwardly extending manner, where the surfaces are designed in mirror-symmetrical to each other. A housing encloses the disks and comprises a blade guiding slot that runs at an angle to the sharpening slot. One of the surfaces is designed in convex form i.e. polygonal line, and another surface is convexly or linearly designed.
