Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2712717A1] The device has a base plate (1) for placing plate-like workpieces (30). A division tool (3) is displaceable in a section line along a guide (2). A sliding functional element (8) is definable at the base plate along the line in freely selectable positions to derive lateral forces developed during a dividing process into the base plate. The functional element forms guide edges for guiding a cutting wheel carrier (15) that supports the tool, where the edges extend parallel to each other. The functional element forms corner stoppers for fixation of corners (32) of the workpieces in the line.
