Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2712815A1] The method involves loading a driver supply (2) with group (3) of n-shells (4), and forming a gap between groups with length of two times driver distance (D) minus valve width. The group of the n-shells of the driver supply is passed to a collecting conveyer (9) and applied by grippers of the collecting conveyer for transportation into a seal device (11). The driver supply and the collecting conveyer are operated velocity-synchronously when passing the shells. An independent claim is also included for a shell locking machine.
