[origin: EP2712988A2] The hinge (1) has base element (30) for attaching the hinge on the furniture main portion. A fixing element (70) is provided for attaching the hinge on the flap. A movement mechanism is provided for guiding the fixing element on a movement path. A spring element (2) is provided for providing a bias to hold the flap in closed and/or open state. An adjusting unit (40) is provided on the base for adjusting the bias of the spring element. The spring element is attached to first side of movement mechanism and second side of the adjusting unit.
