Abstract (en)
The apparatus (1) has a cooking chamber (2) for cooking of food, and a control device (3) for performing multiple predetermined programs (P1-P3). A first determination device (4) determines a food type of the food in the cooking chamber. A second determination device determines an amount of food to be cooked in the cooking chamber. The control device selects one of the programs depending on the determined food type and the determined food amount such that the control device executes the selected program. A user interface is coupled with the control device to actuate the control device. The first determination device comprises a probe for determination of permittivity of the food in the cooking chamber. The second determination device is designed as a weighing device (5) that comprises an integrated pressure-sensitive component such as a piezo element. The user interface comprises an input button and/or a contact-sensitive picture screen such as touchscreen. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a cooking apparatus.

Das Gargerät hat einen Gargerät (1) mit einem Garraum (2) zum Garen von Gargut, welches eine Steuervorrichtung (3) zum Durchführen einer Mehrzahl von vorbestimmten Garprogrammen (P1-P3), eine erste Vorrichtung (4) zum Bestimmen der Gargutart des in dem Garraum (2) befindlichen Garguts, und eine zweiten Vorrichtung (5) zum Bestimmen der Gargutmenge des in dem Garraum (2) befindlichen Garguts aufweist. Dabei ist die Steuervorrichtung (3) dazu eingerichtet ist, ein Garprogramm (P1-P3) aus der Mehrzahl der vorbestimmten Garprogramme (P1-P3) in Abhängigkeit der bestimmten Gargutart und der bestimmten Gargutmenge auszuwählen.
