Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012163495A1] The invention relates to a method for coating inner surfaces of elongated objects (20), in particular pipes and/or tubes. At least one dimer is provided, heated, and evaporated. Subsequently, the dimer is heated and split into at least one monomer. The monomer is cooled and condensed into at least one polymer on the inner surfaces of the elongated objects (20). The inner surfaces of the elongated objects (20) are divided into a plurality of regions, the temperature for cooling the monomer and for condensing into the polymer being separately controllable or regulatable in each region. The invention further relates to a corresponding device for coating inner surfaces of elongated objects (20). Additionally, the invention relates to an elongated object, in particular a tube or a pipe, the inner surface of which is coated using the aforementioned method and/or using the aforementioned device.
