[origin: DE102011105824B3] The method involves conveying mixture of gas and liquid by a pump i.e. piston diaphragm pump (10), where the mixture is subjected to volume- and pressure change. Operational parameters of the pump are detected, and gas concentration is determined from the parameters under consideration of system compressibility. The compressibility in the pump is determined by regulating start pressure, receiving pump position und pressure sensor value and determining spring rate based on value pairs and identical sets of the determined spring rate with system compressibility.
