[origin: WO2012163618A2] Compressor unit in a portable compressed-air source, comprising a reciprocating piston compressor driven by a slider crank mechanism and having a piston that is oscillated in a cylinder and delimits a compression chamber, said cylinder being closed on the output side by a cylinder head having an outlet valve. The cylinder head comprises a separate pressure relief valve for the compression chamber, which pressure relief valve is mounted in parallel to the outlet valve.
