Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2012160101A2] The invention relates to a reflector for a streetlamp. The reflector comprises an opening for a lighting means and a reflector surface that extends away from the opening in a center beam direction without deflecting light of the lighting means along the center beam direction. The reflector surface is divided into bands in the center beam direction, which bands are continuously connected to each other along band edges. The band edges have at least one section that comprises curve segments that are continuously attached to each other in a differentiable manner, wherein the section has a first point at which a curvature vector of the section points inward and a second point at which the curvature vector of the section points outward.
