[origin: WO2012159764A1] The invention relates to a method for exchanging signals between a domestic communication system having a door station which has a call triggering device, a camera, a microphone and a loudspeaker, and a communication device which is not part of the domestic communication system and has a screen, a microphone and a loudspeaker. According to the invention there is provision that, in response to a call triggered at the door station, an image signal which is recorded by the camera is transmitted to the communication device and a corresponding image is displayed by the screen and in response to a corresponding activation of the communication device a voice connection is set up between the communication device and the door station and/or a door opener is actuated.
