[origin: WO2012168129A1] The invention relates to a hair smoother (1) which has two smoothing limbs (2), wherein at least one smoothing limb (2) has a heating plate. According to the invention, at least one of the smoothing limbs (2) further comprises at least one fastening strip (3) which is arranged in or on the respective smoothing limb (2) or the respective heating plate. It is essential to the invention that at least one fastening strip (3) has a spring-loaded coupling to the respective smoothing limb (2) or the respective heating plate. An unintentional and uncomfortable pulling on hair in particular is thus prevented or at least reduced, while an exceptional smoothing result is simultaneously achieved.
