[origin: WO2013013948A1] The invention relates, inter alia, to a signal transmitter (10) comprising at least one first luminous element (LEU1) and at least one second luminous element (LEU2) and an interface (11) for connecting the signal transmitter (10) to a signal box (20). The invention provides for a drive device (12) to be connected between the interface (11) and the at least two luminous elements (LEU1, LEU2) and for the drive device (12) to be configured in such a way that, in the case of a switch-on signal (ST2) coming from the signal box (20) for the second luminous element (LEU2), said drive device controls the activation of said luminous element (LEU2) depending on the signalling state of the first luminous element (LEU1).
