[origin: WO2012168310A1] For economic and ecological reasons, the aircraft industry continuously strives to reduce the weight of freight containers and/or freight pallets. However, it is necessary for the functionality and the robust design of the freight container or freight pallet to remain unaffected. In this regard, the invention provides a solution approach, wherein a freight floor has a multi-layer construction and is designed as a composite material, comprising a core layer (42, 43, 44) made of carbon-fiber-reinforced and/or glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and an overlay layer (21) made of a metal alloy, in particular made of an aluminum alloy.
