[origin: EP2719850A2] The mortise lock has a lock housing, a catch (5) interacting with a lock plate and a locking bar, where a releasing device (7) is provided on the catch for interacting with the lock plate. The releasing device has a movable lock plate-releasing lever (9) for interacting with the lock plate and an articulated lever (10). The lock plate-release lever causes pivoting of the articulated lever, where the pivoting of the articulated lever leads to a linear adjustment of a locking bar-release lever and for movement of the locking bar. A catch holder (20) is provided with a projection.
